WM Platforms Risk, and the Chief Operating Office.The Morgan Stanley Wealth Management UX team builds digital experiences that help our clients manage their finances and monitor their investments easily. We design for two key user bases: our clients, and Morgan Stanley Financial Advisors, whose job it is to guide clients through financial milestones big and small. You’ll be in involved in efforts to rebuild the UI / UX to improve upon the user experience - reduce clicks, automate selections, and rethink and integrate new, complex workflows in an intuitive manner.Once here you will… Working closely with the UX lead, help formulate and execute the product vision by being involved in every step of the end-to-end product design processUnderstand and document the underlying needs and motivation of our clients to ensure we achieve business goals and provide value to our clientsWork closely with our research team to synthesize qualitative and quantitative data and make value-driven design decisions that translate into clear, simple UIsCreate and present a variety of design deliverables (sketches, wireframes, user flows and prototypes) in a way that engenders confidence in you and your solutions with the team and the greater organizationDesign and deliver responsive/adaptive solutions that are optimized for web and mobile interfaces and partner with engineers to translate designs into successful productsWork closely with the larger Wealth Management UX team to share design best practices, align on patterns, and promote a design-centric culture at the firmAdvocate for all user abilities by thoroughly testing design deliverables to meet WCAG ADA complianceRelevant experience and mindset… You have an outstanding portfolio that demonstrates how you have created experiences that solved business and user needsYou’ve spent 3-6 years as a UX designer who was a key contributor to the success of products that have launchedYou have a bachelor's degree in design or related field preferably, master’s degree a plusYou have excellent skills in FigmaYou have experience designing intuitive interfaces that enhance user experience and drive customer engagementYou can leverage research, wireframes and prototypes to effectively validate and enhance your design concepts to achieve the best possible solutions for your usersYou thrive in a collaborative, explorative environment and you value being on a diverse team to brainstorm and get feedback from within a large organizationYou practice active listening and contribute in group situations, like brainstorms, audits, critiques, and whiteboard sessionsYou get excited by complex projects with high levels of ambiguity and are resilient in the face of obstaclesWHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: At Morgan Stanley, we raise, manage and allocate capital for our clients – helping them reach their goals.
