Sensior Stylist / Barber Wanted at Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Are you tired of waiting for clients to walk through the door? At Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Kyle, we have a line out the door and a chair waiting for you! We are a premier, high-energy salon where "Haircuts are Cool and Fun Rules!" If you love working with kids, have a positive attitude, and want to earn a great living in a relaxed, upbeat environment, we want to meet you. Why Join Our Team? We offer a high-volume environment (1200 monthly customers and growing!) which means you start earning immediately. Back to school is right around the corner and we are ramping up, which means a busy season, and a way to earn great money and tips! Total Compensation: $28 $40 per hour (includes base, tips, and commission). High Tips: Our average tip is 25% and are earned in real-time through Tippy Perks: 401k, free snacks/meals, and free ongoing training. Work-Life Balance: No late hours and supportive local ownership. Commission: Earn commission on all retail/merchandise sales in addition to hourly wage and tips. Commission paid in real-time through Tippy. Who You Are Kid-Friendly: You genuinely enjoy working with children (ages 014) and have the patience and energy to make their day. Skilled Professional: You are proficient in haircuts, shampoos, and blowouts. Strong fading techniques for boys are a major plus and you have worked in a fast paced environment and have strong customer services skills. Positive Vibe: You have a naturally friendly, upbeat personality and love engaging with parents and kids alike. Team Player: You thrive in a fast-paced, "fun-first" atmosphere and are willing to help keep the salon sparkling. Responsibilities & Qualifications Provide high-quality haircuts and styling while maintaining a fun experience. Keep up with current trends and maintain strict hygiene/sanitation standards. Stay organized and multi-task during busy weekend rushes. Requirement: Must hold a current Texas Cosmetology or Barber License. Requirement: Must be available to work Fridays 2-7pm and weekends 9-6pm. Ready to Level Up Your Career? Looking for someone to work part time during our busiest Friday-Sundays! We will provide the clients, you provide the haircuts! You do not have to live in the Kyle area - we accept all applicants from surrounding areas! Compensation: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour This franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee.
